We are currently seeking two new Trustees to support our small team.

Unpaid roles

– Chair of Audit and Finance 

– Chair of Business Development Advisory Group

Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Deki achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that Deki has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Just as importantly, they support and challenge the executive team to enable Deki to achieve our mission.

We are looking for someone willing to bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the roles, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board. You do not need previous governance experience as we will provide induction and training.

Time commitment – an average of 4 days per year. 

• Attending 3 Board meetings annually. Currently meetings are held remotely 3 times per year, on Zoom for two hours.
• Attending a full-day, annual strategy meeting, in person in central Bristol.
